Hometown Music's Guitar Support Package

First of all, you probably want to know that Hometown's idea of support doesn't require paying us a yearly fee or needing to have your credit card in hand when you want to call and ask a question.
Here are some things you get when you buy your guitar from Hometown.
  1. No pressure, take all the time you need, helpful friendly service before you buy. Play the guitars. Ask questions. We'll help as much as you want, or leave you alone to play if that's what you prefer.

  2. We'll give a straight answer to yourquestion, answer more than one. Call us or bring in your guitar. Please realize that we like helping you! ...And if you have a problem, we want to know about it so we can fix it. We'll be glad to answer any questions, make sure everything is OK on the guitar, assess any problems, and give you some tips on getting the best service out of your instrument.

  3. Free setup adjustments for one year. Guitars sometimes need adjustment (primarily adjusting the bow of the neck or the string height) as they adjust to the humidity in your house and as they age. These adjustments are considered to be normal maintenance and are not considered to be covered by warranty. However, Hometown will do any adjustments needed on your guitar for the first year for no charge.

  4. Teach you and/or your son or daughter to change the strings. Changing strings is a normal part of playing guitar. Once we walk you through the process (with our non-patented "Hometown Teaching Method") you'll find it's not that intimidating and then you'll be able to change or replace one or all whenever you need.

  5. Help take care of any problems. Most problems with the quality guitars sold at Hometown are minor and can be easily and quickly fixed at the store. With any problems in or out of warranty we'll be glad to help as needed and take care of communicating with the manufacturer and any shipping* in the rare cases that is necessary.
Stuff my lawyer wants me to say:
    • A warranty is between the manufacturer and the customer. The legal responsibility for servicing any warranty problem or product liability issue lies with the manufacturer according to their warranty policy and any applicable laws. While we do our best to help with any problems you have at Hometown our offer to do so should not be construed as a legal commitment to warranty the product or be responsible for any product liability.

    • *Most warranty polices do not cover shipping cost. If a product has to be shipped to the manufacturer or a service center for warranty repair you may have to pay a shipping fee.
