How
to get Listed:
If
you have a band or other music related service in the Harrisonburg
area you'd like us to list, here's how to send us the basic
info on your band or service.
If
you are seeking a musician for your band or you are a musician
seeking a band send us that information and we will be glad
to post it here as well.
Please
note: I often get the info sent to me up on the
site very quickly, but sometimes it can take a few weeks
depending on what's happening in the store and with
the general work I'm trying to get done on the web site.
Please be understanding - it's free. If you haven't
heard back from me after a couple of weeks, it's ok
to check back and make sure I got your first email.
...But first see the next note below and resubmit your
info if you didn't include everything the first time. |
To
be listed your email must include all appropriate
requested information as listed below
-Please
take the extra minute or so to actually read, think and
follow the directions below. I cannot post a listing unless
it conforms to the requirements listed here. If I have to
email you back to get complete information it will take
much longer ...if it happens at all...
- Band/Service
name (If you are a band or service)
- Web
page address (If you have one and want me to link to it),
- Whatever
contact information you want listed. (Please
tell me specifically if you want the contact email address
listed on the page)
- A
paragraph or two of information about your band or service.
NOTE:I usually just paste whatever you write into
the page --so please make sure you've formatted it the
way you want it to look and proofed it for spelling and
grammar. I'll catch obvious misspellings, but I'd rather
not be responsible for re-writing a grammatically funky
sentence at the risk of changing the way you want your
message presented. PLEASE DON'T USE ALL CAPS.
- You
need to include an email address I can use to contact
you from time to time to verify that you want your listing
continued. If I am unable to get a response at some point
in the future when I'm updating the page, I'll assume
the band is defunct and remove the listing.
I will not add you to our mailing list or send you spam
or anything else tacky like that. I will only list
your email address on the website if you also include
it as part of your contact information and tell me that's
what you want.
- A
statement telling me that you want your item listed on
the web page.
